The 74HC6323AD from Nexperia is a versatile integrated circuit combining a programmable ripple counter with an oscillator. It is designed for applications requiring frequency division, timing circuits, and control counters.

This device supports operation with quartz crystals in fundamental or third overtone modes, with on-chip capacitors minimizing external component count. The counter can be programmed to divide by 1, 2, 4, or 8 using select inputs S1 and S2. An asynchronous master reset (MR) function stops the oscillator and resets the counter.
