The Amphenol RF 242130 is a between-series coaxial adapter that converts an N plug (male pin) to a TNC jack (female socket). It is designed for 50 Ohm systems and operates from DC to 11 GHz, making it suitable for a wide range of RF applications including telecommunications, test equipment, and wireless infrastructure.
The adapter features a straight body style with threaded couplings on both ends for secure connections. It is constructed with a brass body (nickel plated), phosphor bronze center contact (gold plated), PTFE insulator, and silicone rubber gasket. The adapter meets MIL-STD-348 interface standards and has a dielectric withstanding voltage of 500 VRMS minimum and a durability of 500 mating cycles minimum.
The free hanging (in-line) mounting style allows for easy integration into cable assemblies. The operating temperature range is -65°C to 165°C, ensuring reliable performance in harsh environments. The gold-plated center contact provides low contact resistance and excellent signal integrity.
