The Bourns 2035-35-SM-RPLF is a precision gas discharge tube (GDT) surge protector from the 2035 Series. It features a DC sparkover voltage of 350 V with ±15% tolerance and an impulse sparkover of 600 V at 100 V/µs and 750 V at 1000 V/µs. The device is rated for an impulse discharge current of 5000 A (8/20 µs waveform) and offers a very low capacitance of less than 1 pF, making it suitable for high-speed signal lines.
This 2-pole GDT is designed for surface mount assembly and comes in a compact 2-SMD cylinder square end package. It provides fail-short protection and has an insulation resistance greater than 10¹⁰ ohms. Typical applications include overvoltage protection in telecommunications equipment, industrial electronics, and commercial PCB assemblies where reliable surge suppression is required.
The DC sparkover voltage is 350 V with a tolerance of ±15%.
The impulse discharge current (8/20µs) is 5000 A (5kA).
It comes in a 2-SMD cylinder square end package for surface mount mounting.
The datasheet indicates a RoHS compliant version is available, but the RoHS status for this specific part number is unverified.
The capacitance is less than 1 pF at 1 MHz.
