The 1PS79SB31,115 is a planar Schottky barrier diode from Nexperia, designed for ultra high-speed switching and low power consumption applications. It features a very low forward voltage of typically 255 mV at 10 mA and a maximum of 500 mV at 200 mA, making it suitable for voltage clamping and protection circuits.
This diode is rated for a maximum reverse voltage of 30 V and an average rectified current of 200 mA. It offers a junction capacitance of 25 pF at 1 V and 1 MHz, and a thermal resistance from junction to ambient of 450 K/W when mounted on an FR4 PCB.
The device is housed in an ultra-small SOD523 (SC-79) surface mount package, ideal for space-constrained designs in handheld and portable electronics. The guard ring construction provides enhanced reliability against overvoltage stress.
