The Nexperia 1PS79SB30,115 is a planar Schottky barrier diode designed for general-purpose rectification and high-speed switching applications. It features a maximum reverse voltage of 40V and a continuous forward current of 200mA. The forward voltage is rated at 600mV maximum at 200mA, ensuring low power dissipation.
Electrical characteristics include a very low reverse leakage current of 0.5µA at 25V reverse voltage and a junction capacitance of 20pF at 1V and 1MHz. The diode is guard-ring protected for enhanced reliability against reverse voltage stress. The maximum junction temperature is 150°C, with a thermal resistance from junction to ambient of 450K/W when mounted on a standard FR4 PCB.
The device is housed in an ultra-small SOD523 (SC-79) plastic SMD package with 2 leads, measuring 1.2mm x 0.8mm x 0.6mm. It is suitable for surface-mount assembly and is compatible with high-volume production processes.
Typical applications include ultra high-speed switching, voltage clamping, and blocking diodes in compact electronic devices such as mobile phones, tablets, and portable consumer electronics.
