The 1N4002-T is a standard rectifier diode from Diodes Incorporated, part of the 1N4001-1N4007 series. It is designed for general-purpose rectification in power supplies and converters. With a maximum repetitive reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward current of 1A, it provides reliable performance in low-power applications. The device exhibits a low forward voltage drop of 1V at 1A and a low reverse leakage current of 5µA at 100V, contributing to efficient operation. It can handle non-repetitive peak forward surge currents up to 30A, making it robust for transient conditions. The diode is packaged in a DO-41 (DO-204AL) axial lead through-hole package, suitable for manual and automated assembly.
