The Kyocera AVX 1812HA271KAT1A is a high voltage multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) with a capacitance of 270 pF and a voltage rating of 3000V (3kV). It features a C0G/NP0 dielectric, which offers excellent temperature stability and low losses, making it suitable for high frequency applications. The capacitor is housed in an 1812 (4532 Metric) surface mount package with plated nickel and tin terminations, compliant with RoHS requirements.
Designed for high voltage systems, this capacitor is ideal for snubber circuits in high frequency power converters, resonators in switched-mode power supplies (SMPS), and DC blocking or coupling applications. The C0G/NP0 dielectric ensures minimal capacitance change over temperature and voltage, providing reliable performance in demanding environments. The operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C.
Due to its larger physical size (1812), special handling is recommended during assembly. Reflow soldering is preferred, and temperature gradients should not exceed 4°C per second.
