The E-T-A 1620-2-5A is a single pole, thermal miniaturized circuit breaker (Mini-CBE) specifically engineered for automotive applications. It conforms to ISO 8820-3, Type F fuse block standards, making it a direct replacement for traditional blade fuses. This breaker offers automatic reset functionality for DC 12V systems and an optional open circuit version with modified reset to SAE standards.

Key technical data includes a maximum voltage rating of 14.5 V (DC 12 V) and 29.0 V (DC 24 V), with current ratings from 5 A to 30 A at 12 V and 5 A to 25 A at 24 V. It features a service short-circuit breaking capacity of 300 operations at 2 x IN and an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of at least 1 break operation at 2,000 A.
