The Weidmüller BLZ 5.08/4 SN SW is a 4-position terminal block plug designed for use with matching headers in PCB connection systems. It features a 5.08mm pitch, providing a compact and standardized pin spacing for industrial control and automation wiring.
Termination is via a screw clamp (clamping yoke) mechanism, which ensures secure and vibration-resistant connections for solid and stranded wires. The plug accepts wire sizes from 0.2 to 2.5 mm² (26-12 AWG) with a stripping length of 7 mm and a tightening torque of 0.4-0.5 Nm. The 180° wire entry direction simplifies routing in confined spaces.
Constructed with PBT insulation (UL 94 V-0) and copper alloy contacts with tin plating, the plug offers good electrical performance and environmental resistance. It is rated for 15 A and 300 V (UL/CSA) and meets IP20 protection against finger contact. The operating temperature range is -50°C to 100°C, making it suitable for harsh environments.
