The Amphenol RF 142189 is an SMB coaxial connector jack with a male pin center contact. It is designed for use with RG-174, 188, 188A, 316, LMR-100, and M17/119-RG174 cables. The connector features a 50 Ohm impedance and supports frequencies up to 4 GHz.
This connector has a free-hanging (in-line) mounting style with a snap-on fastening mechanism. The contact termination can be either crimp or solder, while the shield termination is crimp. The housing is gold-plated, and the center contact material is brass.
As a single-port SMB jack, it is suitable for RF applications requiring reliable connections in coaxial cable assemblies. The snap-on coupling provides quick and secure mating.
