This is a 14-position DIP IC socket designed for through-hole mounting. It accepts standard DIP packages with 0.6" (15.24mm) row spacing and 2.54mm (0.100") pitch.
The socket features gold-plated beryllium copper contacts with a thickness of 10.0µin (0.25µm) for reliable electrical connections. The housing is made of glass-filled polyamide (PA46/Nylon 4/6) with a closed-frame design for durability.
Operating temperature range is -55°C to 105°C, suitable for a wide range of environments. The socket is RoHS3 compliant and has an MSL rating of 1 (unlimited floor life). It is terminated via solder connections.
This socket is commonly used in prototyping, production, and testing applications where reliable insertion and removal of ICs is required. The closed-frame design provides protection for the contacts.
