This plug connector is intended for use with RG-405 (.085" semi-rigid) cable. It offers low insertion loss (0.06 dB max at 6 GHz) and excellent RF leakage performance (-90 dB min at 2-3 GHz). Contact resistance is 2.0 milliohms for center and body, with 0.5 milliohms for braid to body. The connector is weatherproof, making it suitable for outdoor or harsh environments.

 

The connector body is made of brass with gold plating (economic type), center contact is brass, insulator is PTFE, and gasket is silicone rubber. It meets military specifications MIL-C-39012 and MIL-C-83517. Shield and contact termination are both solder type.
