The 1.5SMC7.5AT3G is a 1500W peak power Zener transient voltage suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect voltage-sensitive components from high-voltage, high-energy transients. It features a reverse standoff voltage of 6.4V, a breakdown voltage of 7.5V, and a clamping voltage of 11.3V at a peak pulse current of 132A (1ms pulse). The device offers excellent clamping capability, high surge capability, low zener impedance, and a fast response time of less than 1.0 ns.
This unidirectional TVS diode is housed in a void-free, transfer-molded DO-214AB (SMC) package with modified L-Bend leads for improved solder contact. It supports an operating temperature range of -65°C to 150°C and is rated for ESD protection Class 3 (>16 kV) per the Human Body Model. The part is Pb-free and RoHS3 compliant, with UL 497B certification for isolated loop circuit protection.
Typical applications include communication systems, automotive electronics, numerical controls, process controls, medical equipment, business machines, and power supplies. The device is supplied in tape and reel packaging with a standard quantity of 2500 pieces per reel.
