An environmental tester with a large display. This IP54-rated wall-mountable device measures both relative humidity (%RH) and temperature (°C only). The environmental meter has a large LED display with a number height of 1 mm / 3.9 in, so measurement values can be seen at a distance of up to 5 m / 164 ft away.
Relative humidity and temperature measurements are displayed every 5 seconds (in 5-second intervals). Sensors are mounted by means of connectors with 1 m long cable to measure relative humidity and temperature when sensors and display are in different places.
The environmental tester also has a 2-channel analog output of 4 ... 2-mA. The two channels convert relative humidity and temperature values into 4 ... 2-mA signals before displaying them. This means that measurements can be recorded, controlled and regulated by means of the analog output.

The rev counter utilises the so-called " stroboscope effect" to analyse fast movements, vibrations or periodic processes. With the help of 9 high-intensity LEDs, the speed measuring device generates short flashes of light with an illuminance of up to 1500 lx. These flashes of light are emitted in synchronisation with the frequency of the movement to be monitored until the object appears to stand still to the observer. The digital stroboscope allows the user to focus on specific phases or features of the movement in order to detect defects or irregularities in rotating or oscillating parts.
The flash frequency can be read in both FPM (flashes per minute) and Hz (Hertz). The digital stroboscope has a memory for up to 5 preset flash frequencies so that frequently used settings can be repeated quickly and effortlessly. The one-handed operation makes it easy to control and adjust the settings without complicated menus. The flash frequency is fine-tuned step-by-step on the speedometer using a rotary dial. For quick adjustment of the flash frequency, the stroboscope offers options in steps of 10 and 100 as well as the option to double or halve the flash frequency.
With an LED brightness setting of 10 to 100 per cent, users can adjust the light intensity to suit their needs, whether for detailed analysis or wider illumination. The stroboscope also offers a phase shift from -360° to +360°. The stroboscope has an internal rechargeable battery with an operating time of up to approx. 8 hours.

Car Measuring Device
The Car Measuring Device is for VDE 1 testers to test charging stations (charging mode 3) for electric cars. This adapter can be used with the PCE-ITE 55B installation tester or with most other standard VDE 1 testers. Thanks to the LEDs for voltage detection on the 3 phases, it can be quickly determined if there is an installation error.
The PP State rotary switch can be used to simulate the current carrying capacity of the charging cable. The food / hygiene meter for deep-frying oil is a measuring device with which you can determine the quality of various types of oil. This oil quality meter is also successfully used by food inspectors. A measurement is carried out directly in hot fat. For this, the measuring tip is held directly in a fryer or the like. Thus, fast measurement results are guaranteed. The oil temperature in °C or °F and the oil quality in percent PC (polar compounds) are determined within a few seconds. The PC value is a measure of the thermal-oxidative stress level of a frying oil. On the device itself, a traffic light function is installed, so that the oil quality is displayed directly in color.
This oil tester is not only used by food inspectors, but also in gastronomy. According to the recommendations of the DGF (German Society for Fat Science) 24 percent polar components (Polar compounds) are to be regarded as a limit to the healthiness of a deep-frying fat. When old fat is used, it generally has many disadvantages. This includes influencing the taste and the associated reduced quality. In addition, it can cause strong odor and smoke, if the fat is not examined with an oil tester. National regulations regarding maximum PC limits are to be observed if necessary. Hydrogen not only offers possibilities as an energy carrier and energy storage that have not been used so far. Due to its physical properties, it is also ideally suited for detecting leaks. With its hydrogen-selective sensor, the gas detector can detect the smallest leaks with a very low leak rate. Containers or lines that do not contain hydrogen can also be checked for leaks with the gas detector if they are filled with test gas containing hydrogen and then checked for leaks. The forming gas with five percent hydrogen and ninety-five percent nitrogen, which is already commercially available for other technical purposes, is well suited for leak tests.
Each time it is switched on, this gas measuring device automatically records the current hydrogen concentration in the environment and then only evaluates changes related to this concentration. The reset button does the same during leak detection. If the leak cannot be clearly identified, although all the indicator LEDs are already lit, the current hydrogen concentration can be set as the base value using the reset function and the position of the leak can be better localized. The gas detector can then be reset to low output values in an unloaded environment by means of a reset.
Regardless of the level of the initial concentration, one of three different sensitivity levels can be set on the gas detector at the touch of a button. The selected sensitivity is indicated by the lighting up of a labeled LED. The "H" stands for high, the "M" for medium and the "L" for low. The hydrogen content in normal ambient air is .5 ppm. The sensitive device already recognizes concentrations of less than 5 ppm, i.e. .5 percent.
The sensor is arranged at the head of a semi-rigid 4 centimeter long hose so that it can be easily guided to the component to be tested. To search for leaks, the sensor is slowly moved as close as possible along the points to be examined. If the gas detector detects a leak, an alarm tone sounds and additional indicator LEDs light up. The higher the recorded hydrogen concentration compared to the base level, the more indicator LEDs light up.
With the four standard batteries, the gas detector has an operating time of around twelve hours in normal use. To save the batteries, the device shuts down after ten minutes if the automatic switch-off is activated. A control lamp shows that the batteries are low. The built-in sensor has a limited service life. Under normal conditions of use, it can be used for leak detection over a period of more than a year. Correct function can be tested regularly with test gas. If the sensor no longer reacts reliably, it can simply be exchanged for a new one.
The gas detector is not suitable for use in potentially explosive areas. It must therefore not be used if higher concentrations of hydrogen or other ignitable gases are to be expected in poorly ventilated areas. Above a certain concentration, hydrogen is one of the most dangerous ignitable gases because it requires little ignition energy. The lower explosion limit LEL for hydrogen is four percent.
