<p>The TXB0104PWR from Texas Instruments is a 4-bit, non-inverting, bidirectional voltage-level translator designed for universal translation between various voltage nodes. It features two configurable power-supply rails: VCCA, which accepts voltages from 1.2V to 3.6V, and VCCB, which accepts voltages from 1.65V to 5.5V. This allows for seamless translation between 1.2V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V, and 5V systems, provided VCCA does not exceed VCCB.</p><p> </p><p>Key electrical specifications include a data rate of 100 Mbps and low power consumption with a maximum ICC of 5μA. The device incorporates auto-direction sensing, simplifying design by eliminating the need for external direction control signals. It also features an Output Enable (OE) input that, when low, places all outputs in a high-impedance state. For partial power-down applications, the I OFF circuitry disables outputs to prevent backflow current.</p><p> </p><p>ESD protection is robust, exceeding ±15kV Human-Body Model on the B port. The TXB0104PWR operates within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. It is supplied in a 14-TSSOP surface-mount package with dimensions of 5.00mm x 4.40mm.</p><p> </p><p>This translator is suitable for applications requiring voltage level compatibility between different logic families, such as in headsets, smartphones, tablets, and desktop PCs.</p>
