The ZXGD3103N8TC from Diodes Incorporated is a synchronous MOSFET controller designed to function as an ideal diode replacement. It comprises a differential amplifier detector stage and a high-current driver. The device monitors the MOSFET's reverse voltage, applying a positive voltage to the Gate pin when body diode conduction occurs, thereby switching the MOSFET on to allow reverse current flow. This action ensures rapid turn-off as current decays.
