The Samtec ZW-21-13-L-D-905-100 is a flexible board stacking header from the ZW series, designed for through-hole PCB mounting. It features 42 positions arranged in 2 rows with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch and a row spacing of 2.54mm (0.100"). The connector uses a ZW (custom tail) lead style and provides a stacker height of 0.905" (22.987mm) with a tail length of 0.100" (2.54mm).
The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with a gold finish of 10.0µin (0.25µm) over 50µin (1.27µm) nickel. The insulator is black glass filled polyester. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with gold plating. This component is not lead-free solderable and is intended for lead wave soldering only.
The ZW series allows designers to create part numbers for specific, non-standard board stacking heights by locating the body on the terminal pin in increments of 0.005" (0.13mm). The connector is supplied in bulk packaging.
