The Samtec ZW-12-16-G-S-200-127 is a flexible board stacking header from the ZW series, designed for through-hole mounting on PCBs. It features 12 positions in a single row configuration with a 2.54mm (0.100") pitch, making it suitable for board-to-board stacking applications requiring a 5.08mm (0.200") stacker height.
The header uses a 0.025" (0.635mm) square post contact system with gold plating (10µ" gold on contact area, gold flash on balance) over a 1.27µm nickel underlayer. The terminal material is phosphor bronze, and the insulator is black glass filled polyester. The operating temperature range is -55°C to +125°C with the gold contact finish.
The ZW series allows designers to specify non-standard board stacking heights through a flexible manufacturing process that positions the body on the terminal pin in 0.005" (0.13mm) increments. This part is supplied in bulk packaging and is RoHS3 compliant.
