The ZV952V2TA is a silicon low voltage hyperabrupt varactor diode designed for frequency control and filtering applications. Manufactured by Diodes Incorporated, it offers closely controlled C-V characteristics, high Q, and low reverse current for excellent phase noise performance. With a control voltage range of 0.5V to 2.5V, it is ideal for 3 volt systems.
The device features a maximum reverse voltage of 12V and a forward current of 100 mA. At VR=0.5V and f=1MHz, the typical capacitance is 19 pF. The capacitance ratio C0.5/C2.5 is at least 2.0. Minimum Q at 0.5V and 50MHz is 250. Reverse leakage current is typically 10pA at 8V. Power dissipation is 250 mW at 25°C ambient in the SOD-523 package.
The ZV952V2TA is suitable for VCXO and TCXO oscillators, wireless communications, pagers, mobile radio, and digital radio receivers. It comes in a miniature SOD-523 surface mount package for space-constrained designs. The part is RoHS compliant (unverified) and has an MSL of 1 (unlimited).
