The ZDB25P is a 25-position D-Sub plug connector from ITT Cannon's ZD series. It features male pins with gold flash contacts (Performance Class 3) on a copper alloy base, housed in a steel shell with tin finish. The insulator is black glass filled thermoplastic (PCT) rated UL94 V-0.
Electrical ratings include a maximum current of 5A, dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC at sea level, and maximum contact resistance of 20 mOhm. The connector supports wire gauges from 20 to 28 AWG and is terminated via solder cups.
Mechanically, the connector is designed for panel mounting with unthreaded housing/shell flanges. It accommodates 25 size-20 contacts arranged in 2 rows (shell size 3 DB B). Rated for 50 mating cycles and tested for 12 hours salt spray resistance. Operating temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.
