The PULS YR20.246 is a MOSFET redundancy module engineered for building reliable 1+1 redundant power supply systems. It features dual input channels decoupled by MOSFET technology, reducing heat generation and voltage drop compared to diode-based solutions.
This module supports an input voltage range of 18-35VDC, with nominal operation between 24-28VDC. It can handle an input current of up to 2x10A at 70°C ambient temperature and provides a continuous output current of 20A at the same temperature. The YR20.246 also offers a peak load capability of 160% (32.5A) and includes reverse input polarity protection.
Designed for ease of installation, the YR20.246 features a slim 32mm width for DIN rail mounting and large connection terminals. It operates across a wide temperature range of -40°C to +70°C, making it suitable for demanding environments. The module includes a 'Redundancy OK' signal to report the loss of redundancy, enhancing system monitoring.
Key specifications include a typical input-to-output voltage drop of 0.1-0.5V depending on load, and typical power losses ranging from 2.6W to 8.7W based on input current. The module has a Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) of 1,954,000 hours at 40°C.
