The Mini-Circuits YAT-3A+ is a fixed value, absorptive MMIC attenuator designed for wideband operation from DC to 18 GHz. It features a nominal attenuation of 3dB and a characteristic impedance of 50 Ohms, with a power handling capability of up to 2W.
Fabricated using IPD process technology with thin film resistors on GaAs substrates, this attenuator offers excellent attenuation accuracy and flatness across its operating bandwidth. The design incorporates through-wafer metallization vias for low thermal resistance. It is packaged in a small 2x2 mm MCLP™ package, making it suitable for space-constrained applications.
