The XTR111AIDRCR from Texas Instruments is a precision voltage-to-current converter and transmitter. It is designed for standard 0mA to 20mA or 4mA to 20mA analog signals, capable of sourcing up to 32mA. The I/O ratio is set by a single resistor, RSET, and the circuit can be configured for voltage-output operation.
Key electrical specifications include a wide supply voltage range of 7V to 44V, a low offset voltage of ±1.5mV maximum, and high accuracy of 0.015%. It also features low offset drift of 1µV/°C and nonlinearity of 0.002%. An adjustable 3V to 15V subregulator output is available for powering additional circuitry.
This device is available in a 10-pin VSON package with an exposed pad, suitable for surface mounting. The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. The XTR111 includes an output error flag (EF) and output disable (OD) features for enhanced control and diagnostics.
