XTR105U

The XTR105U from Texas Instruments is a monolithic 4mA to 20mA, 2-wire current transmitter designed for sensor excitation and linearization. This integrated circuit is suitable for platinum RTD temperature sensors and bridge applications, offering complete current excitation and instrumentation amplifier circuitry on a single chip.

Key electrical specifications include a wide supply voltage range from 7.5V to 36V, with low offset voltage drift of ±3 µV/°C and low offset voltage of ±0.025 mV. It features two precision current sources of 800 µA each and provides versatile linearization circuitry for RTDs, typically achieving a 40:1 improvement in linearity.
