The Omron XF2M-5415-1AH is a 54-position FPC connector with a 0.50mm pitch, designed for surface mount right-angle mounting. It features dual-sided gold-plated contacts that eliminate the need to distinguish between top and bottom FPC insertion, simplifying assembly.
This connector incorporates Omron's rotary backlock mechanism for secure FPC retention. The housing is made from halogen-free liquid crystal polymer (LCP) with UL94 V-0 flammability rating, and the actuator is also halogen-free LCP. The contacts are made of copper alloy with gold finish.
Rated for 50V and operating from -30°C to 85°C, this connector accepts FPC thickness of 0.30mm. The height above board is 2.10mm. The locking feature uses a rotary lock with backlock design, ensuring reliable connection in compact electronic devices.
