The Vishay Dale WSR2R0249FTA is a high-performance surface mount resistor from the Power Metal Strip® series. It is engineered for demanding applications such as current sensing, voltage division, and pulse handling, offering a low resistance value of 24.9 mΩ with a tight tolerance of ±1% and a power rating of 2W at 70°C.

Constructed with a molded high-temperature encapsulation and all-welded construction, this resistor utilizes a proprietary processing technique to achieve extremely low resistance values. It features a solid metal nickel-chrome or manganese-copper alloy resistive element, providing a low temperature coefficient of less than 20 ppm/°C and excellent frequency response up to 50 MHz. The device also boasts very low inductance, ranging from 0.5 nH to 5 nH, and low thermal EMF (< 3 μV/°C).
