It integrates a multi-bit sigma-delta ADC with a five-channel input mixer, offering programmable gain control and automatic level control for each ADC channel.

 

The device also includes a multi-bit sigma-delta DAC supporting digital audio input word lengths from 16 to 32 bits and sampling rates from 32kHz to 192kHz. The DAC features an input mixer for mixing external analog signals and provides stereo headphone and line outputs with volume controls. Independent sample rates for ADC and DAC are supported.

 

Connectivity is managed via I2S, left justified, right justified, or DSP formats, controlled through a 2 or 3-wire serial interface. The WM8776SEFT/RV is housed in a 48-pin TQFP package and operates with analog supplies from 2.7V to 5.5V and digital supplies from 2.7V to 3.6V.
