The Kyocera AVX W3L1YC224MAT1A is an Inter-Digitated Capacitor (IDC) designed for low equivalent series inductance (ESL) in power delivery networks. It offers 0.22 µF capacitance with ±20% tolerance and a 16 V DC rating. The X7R dielectric provides stable capacitance over an operating temperature range of -55°C to 125°C.
This capacitor is housed in an 0612 (1632 Metric) surface mount package with 8 terminals, which reduces ESL compared to standard MLCCs. The multi-terminal construction enables faster response times for decoupling high-speed digital circuits.
