The IXYS VUO50-16NO3 is a three phase bridge rectifier module designed for high voltage rectification applications. It features a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1600V and an average forward current (IdAV) of 58A at 85°C case temperature. The module can handle non-repetitive surge currents up to 500A (50Hz) and has an I²t rating of 1250 A²s. Forward voltage drop is typically 1.9V at 150A. The device is housed in the FO-F-B package, which includes a DCB ceramic base plate for improved thermal performance. It is chassis mountable with M5 screws and has 1/4" fast-on terminals. Isolation voltage is 3000V RMS for 1 minute. The module weighs approximately 50g and operates over a junction temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Typical applications include DC power supplies, PWM inverter input rectifiers, and battery DC power supplies.
