The VSBU-120-30 from CUI Inc. is a 120W single-output AC/DC converter designed for commercial ITE applications. It accepts a universal input of 90 to 260 Vac at 47 to 63 Hz and delivers an adjustable output of 27 to 33 Vdc at up to 4 A. The converter features power factor correction (PFC) with a typical power factor of 0.95 to 1.0 and offers an efficiency of 80%.
Protection features include overvoltage protection (112-132%) and overcurrent protection (110-150%). The unit provides 4242 Vdc isolation between primary and secondary, and 2121 Vdc isolation between primary and earth ground. The output ripple and noise is limited to 300 mVp-p. The operating temperature range is 0°C to 70°C with derating, and the MTBF is rated at 100,000 hours.
