The VS-HFA15TB60-1-M3 is a state-of-the-art ultrafast recovery diode from Vishay's HEXFRED product line. It is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 600V and an average rectified current of 15A at TC=100°C. The forward voltage is typically 1.2V at 15A. The device features an ultrafast reverse recovery time of typically 23ns, with very low peak recovery current and no snap-off tendency, reducing RFI and EMI. It is designed for use as a companion diode for IGBTs and MOSFETs in power conversion systems, such as inverters and power supplies. The diode is packaged in a TO-262AA through-hole package, suitable for industrial level applications. It meets MSL level 1 per J-STD-020 and is RoHS3 compliant (unverified). Operating temperature range is -55°C to 150°C.
