The VS-E5PH3012L-N3 is a Hyperfast Rectifier from Vishay, part of the FRED Pt G5 family. It is rated for a repetitive peak reverse voltage of 1200 V and an average rectified forward current of 30 A at TC=115°C. The device offers a typical forward voltage of 1.9 V at 30 A and 25°C, with a maximum of 2.3 V. Its typical reverse recovery time is 32 ns, enabling high frequency operation. The non-repetitive peak surge current is 250 A at 10 ms sine wave. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
The rectifier is optimized for high speed operation with low conduction and switching losses, making it suitable for applications such as PFC and output rectification stages in EV/HEV battery charging stations, solar inverters, and UPS. It can be paired with MOSFETs or high speed IGBTs.
The device is packaged in a TO-247AD 2L through-hole package with matte tin plated leads, solderable per J-STD-002. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating. The circuit configuration is single with base cathode.
