The VS-90EPS16L-M3 is a high voltage input rectifier diode from Vishay General Semiconductor, designed for main rectification in single and three phase bridge configurations. It features a very low forward voltage drop of 1.21 V at 90 A and a maximum average forward current of 90 A at a case temperature of 110°C with 180° conduction half sine wave. The device is rated for a peak repetitive reverse voltage of 1600 V and can handle non-repetitive peak surge currents up to 1100 A. The reverse leakage current is limited to 1.5 mA at 150°C. The diode is packaged in a through-hole TO-247-2 (TO-247AD) package and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. It is suitable for applications such as off-board EV/HEV battery chargers and renewable energy inverters.
