The VS-50WQ03FNTR-M3 is a high performance Schottky rectifier designed for applications requiring low forward voltage drop and a small footprint on PC boards. It has a maximum DC reverse voltage of 30 V and an average rectified current of 5.5 A.
This rectifier features a low forward voltage drop of 460 mV at 5 A and 25 °C, and a typical forward voltage of 0.35 V at 5 A and 125 °C. It can handle a non-repetitive surge current of up to 320 A for a 5 µs sine pulse and has an avalanche energy rating of 10 mJ. The maximum reverse leakage current is 3 mA at 25 °C and 58 mA at 125 °C.
The device is housed in a D-PAK (TO-252AA) surface mount package and has an operating junction temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C. It is suitable for high frequency operation and includes a guard ring for enhanced ruggedness and long term reliability.
