The Aegis Power Systems VPX3UBACKPLANE is a 3U VPX Power Interface Board (PIB) designed for use with VITA 62 and SOSA aligned modular power supplies. It facilitates benchtop troubleshooting and testing of 3U VPX power cards, allowing users to power and exercise all power supply functions.
This PIB supports both AC and DC input power and can handle up to 1000W. It features LED indicators for output power and status signals, as well as toggle switches for control inputs like INHIBIT, ENABLE, NED, and NVMRO. The dual IPMI bus connectivity provides easy interface access for automated test fixtures.
Designed for applications in defense, test laboratories, and repair facilities, the VPX3UBACKPLANE includes test points for measuring input, output, and control signals. It offers selectable geographical addressing for up to eight addresses and uses 16AWG solder connections for external output loads. The board is compatible with VITA 62 and SOSA aligned power cards.
