The Vishay VI40100C-E3/4W is a high-performance dual Schottky rectifier designed for demanding applications. It utilizes Trench MOS Schottky technology to achieve a low forward voltage drop, minimizing power losses and enhancing efficiency.
Key electrical characteristics include a maximum repetitive peak reverse voltage of 100V and an average forward rectified current of 20A per diode. The peak forward surge current is rated at 250A for 8.3ms. The forward voltage is typically 0.61V at 20A, with an ultra-low 0.38V at 5A.
This diode array is suitable for use in high frequency converters, switching power supplies, freewheeling diodes, OR-ing diode applications, DC/DC converters, and reverse battery protection. Its operating junction temperature range is -40°C to +150°C.
The component is packaged in a TO-262-3 Long Leads, I²Pak, TO-262AA package, designed for through-hole mounting. The molding compound meets UL 94 V-0 flammability rating.
