Vicor VI-260-EU is an isolated DC-DC converter from the VI-200 series, designed to deliver 200W of output power with a single 5V output at 40A. The converter operates from a wide input voltage range of 200V to 400V (nominal 300V) and achieves typical efficiency of 88% at nominal line and 75% load. It employs zero-current-switching (ZCS) architecture with a switching frequency up to 2MHz, enabling high power density up to 50 W/in³.
The converter integrates comprehensive protection features including overcurrent (OCP), overtemperature (OTP), overvoltage (OVP), and short-circuit (SCP) protection. Additional features include remote sense, current limit, thermal shutdown, and logic disable. The VI-260-EU is housed in a full brick package (4.60" x 2.40" x 0.50") with through-hole mounting, suitable for commercial ITE applications.
Operating temperature range is -10°C to 85°C. The module carries cURus, cTÜVus, and CE Mark approvals. Note: As per the datasheet, the VI-200 series is non-RoHS compliant; the RoHS-compliant variant is the VE-200 series.
