JST VHR-6N is a 6-position, 3.96mm pitch rectangular connector housing from the VH series. This receptacle-style housing features a latch lock fastening mechanism and is designed for free hanging (in-line) mounting, making it suitable for wire-to-wire or wire-to-board connections where disconnection is required.

 

The housing accepts crimp termination contacts (female sockets) and accommodates wire sizes from AWG #22 to #16. Electrical ratings include a current rating of 10 A (AWG #16) and a voltage rating of 250 V AC/DC. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C, with contact resistance of 10 mΩ max initially and 20 mΩ max after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 1000 MΩ min and withstanding voltage is 1500 VAC for one minute.

 

The housing is molded from glass-filled PA66 material with a UL94V-0 flammability rating, ensuring safety in high-temperature environments. The natural color is standard, and the part is RoHS2 compliant.
