The VHR-5N is a 5-position single row receptacle housing from JST's VH series, designed for use with female socket contacts (crimp termination). It features a 3.96mm (0.156") pitch and a latch lock fastening type for secure connection. The housing is free hanging (in-line) and accepts wire sizes AWG #22 to #16.
Electrical ratings are 10A per contact (AWG #16) and 250V AC/DC, with contact resistance of 10mΩ initial and 20mΩ after environmental tests. Insulation resistance is 1,000MΩ minimum, and withstanding voltage is 1,500VAC/minute. The operating temperature range is -25°C to +85°C (including temperature rise).
The housing is made of glass-filled PA66, rated UL94V-0, in natural color. It complies with RoHS2 and is recognized under UL E60389 and CSA LR20812 standards. Contacts are sold separately.
