The 3M VFP-876 is a highly flexible heat-shrinkable polyolefin tubing designed for demanding applications. With a low shrink temperature of 100°C, it minimizes heat exposure to sensitive components during application.
This tubing features a 2:1 shrink ratio, shrinking to 50% of its original internal diameter. It is rated for continuous operation from -55°C to 135°C and can withstand brief periods at elevated temperatures up to 300°C. The VFP-876 meets MIL-R-46846 Type V and AMS-3587 standards and is UL Recognized.
Typical applications include shrink-fit jacketing and insulation for flexible wire bundles and delicate electronic components where flexibility and low-temperature shrinkage are critical. It is available in standard colors like black, white, and yellow, in four-foot lengths or on large spools.
