The Vishay VEML6030 is a digital ambient light sensor designed for high accuracy measurements. It features a 16-bit resolution, enabling precise detection of light levels from 0 lx to approximately 140 klx with a resolution down to 0.0042 lx.
This sensor communicates via an I2C interface and operates within a supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 3.6 V. It includes features like 100 Hz and 120 Hz flicker noise rejection and excellent temperature compensation, making it suitable for various applications.
