The Vicor VE-RAM-E2 is a RAM (Ripple Attenuator Module) designed to reduce output noise in power systems. It can be connected to various Vicor converters and modules to limit total output noise to less than 3mV peak-to-peak at loads up to 20A. This module combines active and passive filtering to attenuate both low-frequency input power source harmonics and high-frequency switching components across the DC to 20MHz frequency range.
Featuring efficiencies between 93% and 99%, the VE-RAM-E2 requires no adjustments and retains remote sense and output voltage trim features. It offers a flexible, component-level solution for clean power requirements, eliminating the space, efficiency, and weight penalties associated with linear power sources. The operating temperature range for this module is -10°C to +100°C, and it supports currents up to 10A.
This module is suitable for power systems architects seeking to improve power quality. It integrates seamlessly with VI-200 or VI-J00 converters, FlatPACs, ComPACs, or MegaMods, supporting output voltages from 5 to 50V.
The operating temperature range is -10°C to +100°C.
The VE-RAM-E2 has a maximum current rating of 10A.
The VE-RAM-E2 is RoHS3 Compliant.
