VE-RAM-C1

The Vicor VE-RAM-C1 is a Ripple Attenuator Module (RAM) that connects to VI-200 or VI-J00 converters, FlatPACs, ComPACs, or MegaMods. It is designed to limit total output noise to less than 3mV peak-to-peak at loads up to 20A. This module combines active and passive filtering to attenuate both low-frequency input power source harmonics and high-frequency switching components in the DC to 20MHz range.

With efficiencies ranging from 93% to 99%, the VE-RAM-C1 requires no adjustments and retains remote sense and output voltage trim features. It offers a flexible, component-level solution for clean power requirements, eliminating the penalties associated with linear power sources or external add-on filters for conventional switchers. The module supports output voltages from 5 to 50V and has a current rating of up to 10A, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to 100°C.
