The Vishay VCNL4000-GS08 is a fully integrated digital sensor designed for proximity and ambient light detection. It features a 16-bit resolution for both sensing functions, ensuring excellent accuracy and cross-talk immunity. The sensor communicates via an I2C interface, making it easy to integrate into various systems.
Key features include a supply voltage range of 2.5 V to 3.6 V and a low standby current consumption of 1.5 μA. The proximity function supports detection up to 200 mm and includes a programmable LED drive current from 10 mA to 200 mA.
