The VCAN33A2-03GHE3-08 is a bidirectional TVS diode from Vishay Dale designed for ESD and surge protection in sensitive electronic circuits. It features a working voltage of 33 V and a breakdown voltage of 36 V, with a clamping voltage of 56 V at a peak pulse current of 2.5 A (8/20 μs waveform). The device can dissipate up to 140 W of peak pulse power under IEC 61000-4-5 conditions.
This diode offers excellent ESD immunity of ±30 kV for both contact and air discharge, and meets AEC-Q101 requirements with an HBM ESD capability exceeding 8 kV. It maintains a low leakage current of less than 0.05 μA and a low load capacitance of less than 9.5 pF, making it suitable for high-speed data line protection.
The part is housed in a SOT-323 (SC-70) surface mount package and operates over a junction temperature range of -55°C to 150°C, with a maximum junction temperature of 175°C. It is lead-free with tin-plated pins.
