The Vishay VCAN26A2-03G-E3-18 is a bidirectional symmetrical (BiSy) low capacitance ESD protection diode in a small SOT-323 surface-mount package. It provides protection for two lines with a working range of ±26.5V. The device features low leakage current less than 0.05µA and low capacitance of 10pF typical, making it suitable for high-speed data lines such as CAN and FLEX-bus applications.
With a peak pulse current rating of 3A (8/20µs) and clamping voltage of 50V, this TVS diode absorbs transient overvoltages effectively. It offers ESD immunity per IEC 61000-4-2 of ±30kV contact and ±30kV air discharge, and meets AEC-Q101 human body model class H3B requirements. The device is AEC-Q101 qualified for automotive applications.
The SOT-323 package is lightweight at 5.65 mg and has MSL level 1 with a peak soldering temperature of 260°C. The terminations are tin-plated (e3) and lead-free, and the molding compound is UL 94 V-0 rated. The operating junction temperature range is -55°C to 175°C.
