The Vishay VCAN26A2-03G-E3-08 is a bidirectional, symmetrical, low capacitance, dual-line ESD protection diode housed in a compact SOT-323 package. It is specifically designed for CAN and FLEX-bus applications, providing robust protection against electrostatic discharge.
This device features a working voltage of ±26.5V and a low leakage current of less than 0.05 μA. Its load capacitance is below 15 pF at 1 MHz, minimizing signal integrity impact. The diode offers ESD immunity up to ±30 kV contact and air discharge according to IEC 61000-4-2, and an ESD capability of > 8 kV for the human body model (Class H3B) per AEC-Q101.
With a peak pulse current rating of 3A (8/20 μs) and a peak pulse power of 150W, the VCAN26A2-03G-E3-08 is suitable for demanding protection scenarios. It operates within a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C (TJ).
