The VC080538C770DP is a TransGuard multilayer ceramic varistor (MLCV) from Kyocera AVX. It provides bidirectional transient voltage suppression with a varistor voltage of 47V (42.3V min, 51.7V max) at 1 mA DC. The device clamps at 77V typical and can handle peak surge currents up to 80A with an energy rating of 0.3J.
