The V7812-1000R is a non-isolated switching regulator from CUI Inc., part of the V78-1000 series. It delivers a fixed 12V output at 1A (12W) from an input voltage range of 16V to 32Vdc. This regulator is designed as a pin-compatible replacement for linear regulators of the LM78XX family, offering significantly higher efficiency (up to 96% typical at 16V input) without the need for a heatsink.
