The V5.5MLA1206NH is a surface mount multilayer varistor (MLV) from Littelfuse's MLA Series. It is designed to suppress transient voltage events such as those specified in IEC 61000-4-2 and other EMC standards. The component is fabricated using Littelfuse's multilayer ceramic technology, providing inherent bi-directional clamping.
Key electrical specifications include a maximum DC voltage rating of 5.5V, maximum AC voltage rating of 4V, and a varistor voltage range of 7.1V minimum to 9.3V maximum with a typical value of 8.2V.
